Peter graduated from The University of Strathclyde with a Masters degree in Physics. He started in Coherent Scotland eleven years ago initially in production before moving to manufacturing engineering. Peter is responsible for the process control of all our ultrafast fibre optic lasers produced at our Glasgow and Malaysian sites. He is passionate about lean manufacturing and have been involved in continuous improvement within Coherent for many years and am now driving our smart manufacturing journey towards Industry 4.0.
